A change of season is always a time for reflection.  As the summer of 2020 transitions into fall, I’ve had the chance to consider the challenges we have faced over the past several months with the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our country was forced into survival mode with entire communities putting all group gatherings on hold, families sheltering in place at home, and the majority of small businesses were forced to shut down for months without warning.

During this time, I’ve learned there are three things they want most coming out of the COVID-19 crisis.  Businesses wish to be:

  1. Whole
  2. Healthy
  3. In Control Again

I’d like to discuss each of these goals in depth.  Stay tuned for my next post, as I will be talking about what it means for small businesses to become whole again and how they can become stronger post-COVID-19.
