The hardest part isn’t building your network. The hardest part is listening to what they have to say!

Our parting advice: you’ve gathered people around you who are valuable resources, who help you, and who balance out your weaknesses with their strengths. Take the time to genuinely listen to their guidance and advice.

At times, you’ll get feedback that you wished you hadn’t received (whether it be bad news or an opinion that differs from yours). You’ll be challenged to do something outside of your comfort zone–or just different from the way you’ve always done it.

That’s why the hardest part about leveraging your support network is listening to them.

However, if you take the time to listen to your support group and trust their expertise in the areas they are strongest in, it will benefit your business in the long run.
